Since I’m a card carrying geek, I’m predisposed to liking this video. But I appreciate it as a long time direct marketing journalist as well.
Take a look and watch Marvel Comics’ legend Stan Lee plug a collection of his columns. The copy is engaging, and Stan the Man’s delivery is pinpoint perfect. And lo and behold, there’s even a call to action at the end. Excelsior, indeed!

You do have to love Stan Lee and this is a great example of guerilla marketing for true believers. But lately I’ve been more impressed with DC. The viral marketing behind the latest Batman movie was inspired.
