Brita Served With Revenge
Remember when buying bottled water was cool? So cool that Pepsico came out with Aquifina (has that label been redesigned yet?) and Coca-Cola debuted Dasani? And the Brita water filter seemed to be the dorky substitute for those people who couldn’t shell out the money for, well, essentially the same stuff you get in those trendy water bottles?
With the economy hurting and eco-friendliness in, Brita seems to be getting the last laugh.
Brita recently launched it’s Filter For Good campaign, with a goal to reduce bottled water waste. You can go there and take the pledge and get coupons, or just read their blog.
Now if they can find a way to incorporate their clever ads, the Bottled Water Revenge would be sweeter:

Tim,
Thanks for the post. I wish they would have added a URL to the piece and tied back a coupon to gauge results. If it weren’t for your post, I would be unaware of the site and blog. While the spot is clever, there is no call to action. Urgh!
