That’s not me at the left, but God, would I love to be in his shoes. After all, today is National Pie Day, my third favorite holiday behind Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Last week I was bidding a sad farewell to the newspaper industry. Now I just want one daily newspaper to just stop calling me, and make it easy to be removed from its calling list.
One simple way to do this: Don’t set your auto-dialer to start calling former subscribers with offers - and give them an offer to speak to a customer service representative to be removed - after your customer service center is closed. Duh! more
I have heard it said on many occasions that “great product trumps all” – that is to say, if you have a great product, you really don’t have to market it (or market it much) because it basically sells itself. I say sometimes the cliché is true, sometimes it isn’t.
