BFMB, Chief Marketer Win Best of Web Awards
Permit us a moment of blatant self promotion, if you will.
I’m thrilled to announce that this morning, the Big Fat Marketing Blog (BFMG) won a min Best of the Web award for B2B blog. And the Chief Marketer Network won for best site redesign/relaunch. (Click on the thumbnail for a better look.)
As you may—or may not—know, the BFMB was launched last fall as a home for news, opinions and commentary from the staffs of Chief Marketer, Direct, Promo and Multichannel Merchant. And along the way, we’ve been lucky to welcome outside commentators like Grant Johnson, Tom Hansen and our newest blogger Amy Africa as well. (And more new bloggers are coming soon, so watch this space!)
Congratulations and a thank you-thank you-thank you to all my fellow bloggers for your contributions.
At the same time the blog debuted, the entire Chief Marketer family of sites was relaunched. To say the project was an extreme makeover is a giant understatement. Many, many people were involved from all aspects of our organization but I want to give a special shout out to Beth Reed, Gene Radin, Steve Justice, Alex Morse, Lev Radin, Tiffany Guidice, Jennie Lee, John Herr, Gene Lu, Warren Bimblick, Ray Schultz, Asif Rahman, Callie Gartner, Glenell Rosburg, Derek Cronk, Ann Marie Wills and Seth Olson. (And if I’ve forgotten anyone, I apologize.)
I’d be remiss if I didn’t congratulate all the other winners, including another winner from the Penton Media family of titles, Nutrition Business Journal, which was honored in the premium site category.
