Robot Road Rage? Affirmative!

k9_011.jpgNow, before any robot anti-defamation groups start up with the angry cards and letters, let me make one thing clear: I love robots.

I’m a geek. Of course, I love robots and artificial lifeforms of all types. Data from “Star Trek: The Next Generation?” He’s great. The robot dog K-9 from “Doctor Who?” I’d love to have a robot dog. (Seriously. If you can get me one, call me.)

Instead, the purveyor of gourmet treats has cut back on pay-per-click and found success in natural search optimization, thanks largely to blog driven traffic.

Less Love for Valentine’s Day Sales This Year?

godivaTypically, one holiday is barely over before the products for another flood store aisles.

Think about it. Fourth of July fireworks go up and Halloween candy hits the shelves. Carve your pumpkin and malls are decked with boughs of holly.

But this year, there seemed to be no big rush to spread the Valentine’s Day merchandise love at the retail level.
